Our key initiative:
Water: We are implementing measures to reduce our water withdrawals by 30% by 2035 compared to 2019
GHG (Greenhouse Gases): Our 1.5° decarbonization trajectory has been validated by the SBTi. In accordance with this, we are moving towards:
- A reduction of our scope 1 and 2 emissions by 67.2% by 2035 (compared to 2019). More details here.
- A reduction of scope 3 FLAG* emissions by 48.5% compared to 2019
- A reduction of scope 3 non-FLAG emissions by 40% compared to 2019
We are also aiming for a net-zero trajectory by 2050.
*FLAG emissions (Forest, Land, and Agriculture) encompass emissions from activities directly related to land use, management, and transformation. For Savencia, these emissions come from our purchases of agricultural raw materials (e.g., dairy raw materials, cocoa, incorporables…).
